All the Way is an unreleased song performed by Kerli. It is believed to be recorded around the same time as the sessions from Love Is Dead, but it is not considered to be an outtake from this album, as the composition and lyrical theme does not fit with those of the album tracks.
Background and composition Edit
All the Way was written by Kerli herself along with Krister Linder, whom she had already worked with in songs like Butterfly Cry, They Forgive and Miracle. The song surfaced onto the internet on August 4, 2008, and a demo leaked as well, most likely around 2010. The song has been uploaded and reuploaded by different users throughout the years.
The final version, which only leaked in low quality, features an airy atmospheric sound through the whole track, with Kerli's vocals complemented by soft background vocals and a guitar riff, featuring pads and wind chimes, and soft drums as well. The demo version features a more simple instrumentation, featuring heavy drums (similar to songs like Bulletproof and Love Is Dead) and less background vocals.
Both versions run at a moderate tempo of 110 beats per minute, set at a 4/4 time signature, and feature the typical verse-chorus structure that most Kerli songs present as well. The demo version is a few seconds longer than the final version, but lyrics are the same.
